Training together in Valencia
Valencia probably has the best place to train of any Spanish city, and on top of that it's flat and it doesn't freeze. There's a reason its marathon is one of the fastest in the world: people here train all year and go out in groups out of habit rather than effort.

Where the city goes
- The Turia riverbed
- Nine kilometres of park along the old river, crossing the entire city without a car. You drop in wherever you live, climb out wherever suits you, and never stop at a light.
- The sea
- From the port up to Patacona, flat and beside the water. The natural finish to the Turia if you follow it down, and where most of the Sunday long sessions end.
- The south
- La Albufera and El Saler, through pine woods and rice fields. Absurdly flat and ideal for long distance, on foot or on a bike, but far enough out that hardly anyone goes alone.
